Bible Meetings reach all homes in Nullagine

Posted on Jun 26, 2008

Twelve people made decisions to prepare for baptism at evangelistic meetings held in Nullagine from 21 April–3 May.

The evening programs held over 13 days and 2 Sabbath mornings were conducted by Pastor Don Fehlberg and held underneath a big Tamarisk tree in Audrey Long’s yard.
Around 42 adults and children came each night. Two baby services were held each Saturday to dedicate a total of 5 children.

The program included special songs for children and they participated and responded very positively. Approximately 65 different adults attended over the fortnight which means that the program touched every home in the Community.

Eleven people accepted Jesus as their personal Saviour and 12 people made decisions to prepare for baptism. After the Sabbath topics were presented, 16 people also said they were willing to keep the Sabbath.

And when local minister, Pastor Saia Vea preached that we don’t have to be perfect to come to Jesus – He changes us, one lady picked up her chair and took it down the front as a response to this message. Sixteen more people came forward.

As a follow up to these meetings, Pastor Saia is running “The 32 Lesson Prophecy Seminar” for those who want to know more about the Bible.
